  1. We are only interested in technology that involves us. If we are in no way involved, communicated to, affected by, then it could not exist and we would not notice.

  2. I studied natural language processing to decide if a sentence is grammatically correct, I think that is an example of the word problem. I used a logic approach, and was able to correctly accept valid sentences, and reject many invalid sentences. But some invalid sentences were incorrectly accepted. In the short time that I studied this, I was unable to find a finite collection of rules that was complete for the English language. Given that it is a human language, and rightly or wrongly, we do not always adhere to logic, I wonder if it is possible.
