  1. I had an iMac for about 7 years until the display hardware failed. I looked at a replacement iMac but there just didn't seem to be any difference to the one I had except the specs had improved. Still no screen bigger than 27", no optical drive, no VR capability. So instead I got a good spec PC, a 32" monitor and a VR headset. I still spent a fair amount on it but I got a game changing new technology. Apple are not really doing that now.
