  1. Being taken to court over the exist bill is not such a bad thing. If the EU takes us to court then the proper legal figure will be calculated. Once that is paid the EU has no legal basis ask for anymore and the courts will no enforce any further payments. If the EU expects anything above the agreed amount then they are operating outside the law and we are not obliged to pay criminals.

  2.  @Walterp60  Germany doesn't make parts for electric cars. We won't need their ZF gear boxes, Bosch fuel pumps etc.

  3. The EU's tactic has been to offer a deal so bad that it cannot be accepted, or if on the off chance that it is accepted would be better for the EU than the current relationship. The EU then just has to wait for us to change our minds. Seems that the only way out has always been to work hard on making a success of leaving with no deal. Negotiations do not have to take place before we leave, quite the opposite. The EU will be in a very different situation after we have left and negotiations will be far less weighted in their favour.
