And who dictated foreign policy during Vietnam and other south east asia wars? As if he was stirring up wars that he knew the youth would rail against. Spend all your money and turn the youth against you at the same time.

Aren't there a lot of commenters with random characters and numbers after their names these days? Looks like they are all bots.

What was the benefit of gain-of-function research? It's a massive risk that a virus will escape, but surely that risk is supposed to be greatly offset by getting a head start on such viruses? So why did a vaccine not come sooner? Did China have a vaccine and that's why they were apparently not badly affected? Why am I the only person asking this?

What makes the scientists think that a naturally occurring virus would be even close to one made via gain-of-function? Because a vaccine for a gain-of-function virus would only work on a naturally occurring virus if they were almost identical. I don't see the value of gain-of-function. Yet research into these viruses was performed and a pandemic came about with no immediate vaccine available. So again, what really was the benefit of doing this research?

It's this woman who is the patsy. You think it was just the SS that were to blame, when in fact all 3 authorities have a hand in this. They are sacrificing one of their own to save the rest.

I propose if something can happen through chance then it is a certainty that it can happen through intervention.

Where is the benefit of the GoF research? Is it not supposed to give a head start on the pathogens being researched? So where was the head start?

Humans have a very large brain for their size. So large that humans are born prematurely, otherwise the mother would die in childbirth. But premature birth means the child cannot function independently for many years, they are dependent on an adult to feed and protect them until they are more fully developed. Men do not give birth and cannot lactate, women can. But women cannot feasibly hunt and gather while heavily pregnant or when nurturing the newly born. It falls on the man to provide and for the woman to nurture. It is that practical division of labour that has led to different adaptations of men and women. Men develop muscel, and motor skills, to be sucessful at hunting. Men develop technical skills for making tools to hunt. Women develop in a more humanitaran direction. And this is why the human species is so sucessful.

@annmarieblanc6363 But what happens when three is a critical mass of women that cannot have children? All hell breaks loose?
1
@annmarieblanc6363 Which one, that humans are born prematurely? Or that the the characteristics of the two sexes specialisations that result from premature birth? Am I talking to the real @annmarieblanc6363 or her husband still?
1
@annmarieblanc6363 I can't say how many it would take to reach a critical mass. Just wondering if the current predicament we are in could be due to too many unsatisfiable maternal instincts making women go crazy. They don't have to be across the whole world, it's only the developed countries that are going down the pan. But thanks for telling me it's a proposterous idea.
