  1. So these manufacturers that do 'torque vectoring via braking' instead of torque vectoring diffs must use open diffs? If they use LSD or a locked diff and brake the inside wheel when cornering then that would create more resistance on the inside wheel and the LSD would send more torque there. But that is the opposite of what is required. With the open diff it does not matter if the inside wheel has more resistance because it will get the same amount of torque as the outside wheel. The brake will reduce the force and induce yaw.
