Her assessment of Boris' options in a general election are about right. He can campaign on the claim that he has been prevented by parliament from delivering Brexit, that's clear to see. If he were to offer a no deal Brexit he would no doubt get the Brexit party vote and many Labour leave votes but the problem is you cannot trust him to actually leave without a deal. Whereas the Brexit party is almost certain to nullify the existing treaties and not sign any more.

@coyhutt8022 An MP is not forever.

@coyhutt8022 They could screw things up. I wonder if they would try for a GE after leaving the EU?

@yasminpatel231 It all comes down to whether leavers will vote for an MP who can be trusted to remove the rules taking no deal off the table and then go for a no deal. I think I can safely say the most likely candidates are from the Brexit Party. So will people for once do something they may have never done before and break their voting habit? Where do leavers priorities lie? Do they really want to leave? Because if we remain in the EU the country will soon not resemble anything from their past.

Those Labour leave voters in the North apparently don't like Corbyn but that does not immediately mean they will vote against Labour. They are unlikely to vote Conservative and even if they do it will just enable Boris to go ahead with his bad deal. The only alternative they have if they want to leave is Brexit Party. My guess is they are just as likely to not vote at all as to vote for the Brexit Party.
