The question is whether this new party is a serious party committed to winning at least the largest number of seats in parliament or is it just another pressure group? I don't think we need another pressure group because I don't think there is any credible pressure they can apply. On cultural issues all the 3 main parties have the same policies so all a pressure group can do is threaten to take votes from the incumbent which will only serve to let in an opposition party who has the same policies anyway. It's a hollow threat. They should at least be committed to winning some seats so that they have teeth in parliament.
