I think the woke arguments are purposefully inconsistent. When a theory, i.e. critical race theory, is shown to be contrary to observation, it is said to be incomplete. This means something has to be added to the theory to explain the contrary observation. The theory has to grow. If that larger theory is again incomplete, then it must grow further. The woke purposefully make their arguments inconsistent so that they can grow their demands ever larger, until their authority encompasses everything.
