  1. Really doesn't matter what the government do. If you don't like the BBC you don't have to watch it. You can cancel the TV licence if you don't watch live TV and then two things happen. 1. The BBC stop receiving funding and will have to address the loss in revenue. 2. You are no longer sensitive to the BBC. If a tree falls over in a forest and you are not there does it make any sound?

  2. Switch it off permanently and you don't need a licence. Then they don't get any funding to make the programmes they attack you with. You know - don't feed the trolls.

  3.  @Slarti  If people who don't like the BBC continue to fund them then the BBC does not need to change. If their funding drops then it's up to the BBC to recognise that and change if they so wish.
