The kids are beginning to really wake up to the woke. I hear it every so often.

@grahamparkhouse8467 Every time I talk to religious people I get stuck on the evolution argument. I just could not work out exactly what their beef is with it. Then I asked one recently what they thought of CoVid and the governments response. Their reply was that they thought it was somewhere between a gentle and firm message from god that we are wrecking the environment. Then it became clear that the problem they have with evolution is that it means god does not directly create everything. Without it every thing from species to viruses are a created by god. The religious person seemed somewhat excited by the virus. Some are talking about the rapture and the second coming. I found it quite distasteful.

@grahamparkhouse8467 Evolution is certainly a theory that is popular amongst atheist's and they do use it to deny god but it was not theorised by an atheist. In my opinion you do not have to deny god to accept that evolution could take place. That is a false argument used by atheists. Do oak tree's appear fully grown? No they grow from an acorn and an acorn bears no more resemblance to an oak tree than a butterfly does to a caterpillar yet to a religious person these are all products of god. The point I am making is that god has already shown us how he can allow his creations to change into something quite different so what is the obstacle to accepting that god may have created the process of evolution? The only difference I can see is that if you accept evolution can take place then you accept that species do not have to be created directly by the hand of god. I really have no issue with that.
