  1. I went to Telford on a school trip nearly 40 years ago. The school organised pen pals with pupils from Telford and we went to meet them. Mine was a Pakistani boy, he might be one of the groomers now. But when I got to Telford, there was another English pupil who had sent me a letter, but the schools never forwarded it. He told me then that the authorities were up to no good. That was almost 40 years ago.
