The woman doesn’t like the idea of there being a body and a you that is separate from the body, because it contradicts the idea that consciousness is just an illusion explained by chemicals in the brain. Is there any evidence that it’s all brain chemistry? Her view is actually left wing dogma. The idea that it’s all chemistry and society.

  3. I made the point about transgender soul. If you examine the phrase ‘born into the wrong body’, then there is a body, there is something that exists independently of and before the body, and that thing enters the body at birth. I am also informed by learned people that there are physiological differences between male and female brains that can identify them as male or female. It should be entirely possible to perform a brain scan of someone with gender dysphoria and identify the brain as either male or female, and thus resolve the claim.

  4. I heard a theory recently that a male is more likely to be homosexual than the previous male born to the same mother. The reasoning is that as the male foetus develops in the womb, it floods the shared bloodstream with testosterone, the woman’s body reacts to this by releasing hormones to counter the testosterone. As the woman bears more male offspring, her body becomes more adept, and the foetus is increasingly feminised. It sounds like a plausible theory and there is evidence to support it. But it does not explain female homosexuality. Furthermore, homosexuality among men in the developed world appears to be increasing, that’s not a fact, just conjecture, yet women are having less children. To have 3 males in a row is a 1 in 8 probability. A women might have to bear 4 or 5 children to have 3 males. How many women in the developed world have more than 2?

  5. I suppose to answer my own question, a few women have a lot of children, often with many partners, while other women have none. The proportion of homosexual males will increase.
