  1. Great video. Just an observation...the building permit numbers in California might be influenced by the statewide ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) law that passed a couple years ago. They have made it much easier for someone to convert their garage or add another housing unit in their backyard, even if the city has zoned the parcel R1. Maybe Reventure's Data captures that distinction, but if not, it's definitely something to definitely consider, because people are building ADU's for sure.
