  1. By protecting our Constitutional rights they are representing the people. We can solve this without taking gun rights, we remove the gun free zone signs and make sure good people are carrying guns so we can stop the bad people.

  2.  @JustMe-ne5dw  you should be more specific..... the vast majority of shootings like this take place in gun free zones...... those shootings only get stopped by armed people, which is why the pick places were people are not armed.

If you don't understand the difference between driving a car and owning a gun than I don't know how to help you. No one wants a police state, we want the liberty under our Constitutional rights to arm ourselves and protect ourselves as is not only our right but our responsibility. You're free to not carry or own a gun, but you don't get to dictate or legislate away the Constitutional Rights of other individuals. In fact, your argument is exactly the kind of BS the founding fathers didn't want. What you want doesn't fix anything, we do need to treat people better but what you want is not treating people better.
