@nancyross7935 this is a free country, he is taking the high road of freedom instead of the low road of tyranny. Desantis wants Floridians to have the right to make their own decisions for themselves. He is doing exactly what every politician in this country should be doing. People with medical training are not special and they dont have the right to dictate how other people live in a free country.

@snootcity the majority of the people that died during the Spanish flu died because they got sick from wearing masks. In a free country people have the right to make decisions on what is best for them personally.

@nancyross7935 you can disagree all you want but that makes you a traitor to this country. That makes you an enemy of We the People. No one should ever dictate in this country, this country was founded upon the concept of individual liberty and free will. Your neighbors are talking notes on you, your door will get kicked in and your skull will make a nice drinking cup. Pull your head out of the sand, the people you want to dictate our lives created and released this virus in a power move to control the globe. Desantis is simply standing up for individual liberty and saying the power hungry will not impose their will. You do know that a mask doesn't stop virus particles and will only increase your chance of getting sick, right.... Did you know that most of the deaths during the Spanish flu were cause by bacterial pneumonia caused by wearing masks and the people who didn't wear masks were burying those who did... Stop being such an ignorant and hypocritical sheep. You literally just said you want dictators in this country. It's not going to end well for you.

@FirstNameLastName-wt5to that's not how it works though, everyone has an equal right to public schools regardless of vaccination or any other status or personal belief. If you dont like other people making their own decisions YOU are the one that has the choice to stay home. Your mandate is garbage and illegal in Florida as well as many other places. No one is going to bend to your selfish desires, grow up and stop trying be a tyrant because it wont end well for you.
