  1. ​ @rlmint  , Nope. Malaysia it's not about individual freedoms in general, they expect everybody to follow everything the govt says and there is a common mentality thing in general. It didn't allow foreign residents in during pandemic! And one of the last countries to remove mask mandates! otherwise fine.

  2.  @pinetworkminer8377  , most people tend to be on the conservative side there in general and there is sharia for muslims, but sometimes hard to even date non-muslims there, but still better dating scene there than in socially messed up USA or some other places.

  4.  @pran81  , yes, friend, the poor Thais in Thailand surely don't feel free or happy much in actuality, they don't even get the level of support as the poor get in Australia or any western countries at all. It's a similar story in most of Asia and Latin America, the poor may seem happy, but inside they may not be actually much happy.

  5.  @ThisnametaKenny  , well, it's not about whether they want or need a green card, it's mostly bcoz they are conservative. Women in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Finland, etc in general certainly don't need any green card or wealthy guy, but much easier to date them than those in Malaysia, except for maybe in Christian & Buddhist majority areas of the country.

Before trying to get a 2nd or 3rd passport consider which countries allow you to stay for long periods of time with your current passport or passports and then consider if you like those options! Sometimes the benefits increase or decrease, or may increase for some places while decreasing for others.

  12.  @srinivasaniyer6219  , 😆😆 Well, they can't really dispose the rest bcos it is most of those of the rest that have kept Malaysia economically afloat! maybe otherwise they would. Also it seems that nowadays at least 1/3 of Malays have become more modernized in thinking, however there was a recent poll that showed both muslims in Malaysia and Indonesia having become more religious than before, and yet also softening of attitudes towards Jews and Israel. Malaysia and Indonesia still don't recognize Israel as a country.

  13. Japan?! most people there are very compliant, they can get it done within 2 yrs! Mexico? maybe 4-5 yrs if many people don't make a fuss about it.

  17. If Mexico opted out was perhaps to not be in any economic conflict with Canada & USA! Most of those foreign companies investing there are from the 2 countries.

  18.  @andresoares2110  , most of Brazil in general is still not safe, there are only a few parts and small towns that are safe. it would be safe if it copies what El Salvador has done and what Philippines did previously! not only Brazil but any country.

I would say that life in Japan is affordable, safe, and even exciting to some extent, plus it's beautiful there and interesting culture etc. Drawbacks: the Japanese in general act as social robots, rarely even any handshakes, hugs probably never. correct me if i'm wrong. The frequent earthquakes may freak out some people. Also, there could be problems if any real conflict with North Korea happens in the region or if China makes some kind of open conflict.

  23.  @knucklehoagies  , Handshakes and hugs are not a "very Western custom", they happen in fact more so in non-Western countries as those in southeastern Europe, Middle East, Latin America, Africa, South Asia, etc. I only know of Japan as being maybe the only country or one of very few that you can rarely even see any handshakes, let alone any hugs.

Frankly i don't know any country that you rarely even see any handshakes or friendly touches as Japan. They act and live as almost robots, and then bcoz of that they abuse with excessive unsolicited touches in crowded transport towards strangers they never even said hello to!!

It's not as though any of them have moved to hardcore socialism or some type of communism, have they?! Venezuela is the only country there that placed a hardcore socialist system but also was throwing plenty of money away to other countries and then afterward the economy collapsed of course!

  39. Delusional?! 😆😆🤦🤦 1. Brazil will not have any currency or economy backed by gold nor can any other real country bcoz it's not practical! 2. Security remains a big issue for at least 85% or more of Brazil! Unless a govt improves security significantly its economy not gonna improve much and not much progress. 3. Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia, are much better choices, especially the first 2.

Depends and varies by region and country, some have become much more welcoming or offering much longer visa-free stays to U.S.A. citizens than ever before and a few or some have decreased it or removed that option. Panama, India, Dominica, nowadays offer 6 months visa-free, Georgia, Albania, up to 1 whole year visa-free, in Palau, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, can stay and even live and work there as long as you want (an open secret available for decades to citizens of U.S.A.), there are then of course also the U.S.A. territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, etc. The countries that have or may have decreased options for U.S.A. citizens are usually those that have political conflicts with the country and or allied with Russia and or China in terms of geopolitics.

  43. If you plan to move to Mexico or visit there heed this warning: Avoid all states and or parts of states that experience violence & that are along cartels' routes, even potential ones! Want to be almost always safe in Mexico? Then only go to relatively peripheral states such as Yucatan, Campeche, Tabasco, etc. These states are basically worthless in regards to cartels' routes and any of their intentions = safe from cartels & drugs gangs troubles. If any parts of even affected states have strong & massive police & army presence and or are worthless as regards routes or business for cartels then you can consider to also go there but do some prior research before going. good luck & take care in your journeys.
