OK... 1) why is this comment you just made "Highlighted", and 2) there are 71 replies, so I'm not going to click on replies and have to scroll all the way to the bottom of 71 of them, to try to find some reply I made, in order to figure out what you are talking about. If I were rich, and if I went to Pitcairn Island, I would inquire of the islanders what they NEED and what they would LIKE. Then bring them lots of cool stuff!!

  3.  @johnlewis9158  yeah they were horny little peckers!! Good weather and fresh food too. But all but one of mutineers died or was killed in a relatively short time after the mutiny. So it didn't work out so well for them. I think Christian was quite young. Maybe only 22-24, but not certain.

  5.  @mohabatkhanmalak1161  cuz they didn't have a reliable clock that could keep Greenwich Mean Time (then compare to high noon Sun where they were) in order to know your Latitude. So they just went until they hit something. There was a good long PBS program all about the need for and development of a reliable clock

  6.  @copferthat  the Vikings hugged the coast or went overland and down rivers. The hopped over to Newfoundland .... Iceland then Greenland then New. Those Vikings were farmers and animal keepers. But there were too few of them, and too many Indians. They didn't dare go further south for fear of more Indians. They couldn't get other Vikings to come over, so they left.

  9.  @mohabatkhanmalak1161  the Catholic Church, the Vatican, and the pope ran everything. The told Kings and countries what to do. The church controlled everybody and every aspect of life. But yes, to combat the Muslims as well.
