Yeah! Impaling tens of thousands of people, including his own, and doing other unspeakable things to his own people didnt mean he was an evil guy.

Ok I have a serious problem with the statement that he impaled 20,000 Ottoman troops and set them up in a field like a forest. Impaled them with what? Where did he get 20,000 "things" with which to impale them?. That'd be a forest in and of itself. Not to mention the man hours of work, just to come up w 20,000 "things". Very unlikely. .......... I had heard that he had impaled many of his own people and set him up along a road, and when the oncoming Ottoman's saw this they got scared and turned around. Thinking that if Vlad did this to his own people what would he do to them.
