Well one problem with this lawyer liking the prosecution's opening statement in the movie of walking from his table to the witness Box in front of the jury rail is that in most courts the lawyers aren't allowed to leave their tables because that's where the microphones are located. recording what they are saying. So the opening statement has to be made entirely from the lawyer's table and they can't walk up in front of the jury.
