What if "kidnap my wife and daughter" is code for "my wife is planning to leave me for the judge and my daughter is OK with it and is going with her"?

@kimburger917 one scenario is that the Sheriff's wife was planning to leave him (do we have any evidence that the Sheriff was prone to violent rages?) She discussed her plans with her daughter, and consultant the judge as a friend and judge. That could have been the limit of his involvement. An angry man may have seen just discussions between the three as them conspiring against him.

@louiedoee the judge likely had nothing to do with that bad stuff in his chambers. There's nothing in that assault for the judge, he wasn't even there.
