  1. There was no commitment for US missiles to be withdrawn from Europe, only from Turkey. There was no agreement that central European countries couldn't join nato, there was though a commitment from Russia to respect and defend Ukraine sovereignty and territorial integrity.

  2. Nato are also supplying logistical support, and nato's logistical resources are huge compared to Russia, especially that of the US, which is able to support allies globally.

  14. @Allen Vestal  wars of attrition are for armies without either the equipment or sense to conduct mobile warfare. Attritional warfare is what the Soviet Union did against Germany when it didn't have mobile armor. When that deficiency was remedied later in the war the Soviet Union was able to kick the Germans out with their huge tank armies. In this conflict it's the Ukraine that has gained the new armor. A dozen T14's are not going to save Russia from defeat.
