  1. Is there concrete evidence you can point to, to support this theory of yours? I am under the impression that neither Israel, nor Egypt, actually wants to lay claim to Gaza. I'm under the impression that Israel is pretty happy to just continue things in Gaza as an occupation indefinitely. I'm open to changing that opinion, but I'd need to see some evidence to support your claim. The West Bank is a different story, though. They do seem to want to lay claim to that.
