Doubt if you find "links" about anything that really happened and those who lived it are quite familiar with during the McCarthy era. You should be able to find real books published before 2005 that will clearly show this "new world order" DemoCULT swamp fascism is nothing new at all. Only the methods have changed some due to the web. Suggest you start your studies around 1920. Then, like now, newspapers influenced elections (you might enjoy a Bogart film called 'Deadline USA'), but as of 1994, 95% of the newspapers are owned by just ONE company. All major radio stations, real and web-based, are programmed by ONE California company. Media giants own blocks of cable channels, using all of them to push public opinion (what's "cool" today) as they choose. And Hanoi Jane Fonda is still a major influence to CNN.

You MIGHT even learn Prohibition had a strong undertone of New York distilleries using government to kill their Southern mostly Appalachian competition. Note the ritzy places in NY never ran out of booze and never had to stop serving "pre-Prohibition stock" already in their cellars.
