  4.  @MrBeetsGaming  I'm in a small Iowa railroad town, and due to an old dis-used now tunnel system, a shop across the street from mine had a heated sidewalk, partially due to the owner growing weed in his basement, but that's another story. That 20 feet of sidewalk was a sheet of black ice most winter days.

I was saying that the accidentally warm bits of sidewalk in my town melted the snow, and when the below zero cold of the night set in, it re-froze into a sheet of ice. People who didn't know did bust their faces. Those shop owners did go through a lot of salt, but it still happened, and the slush was just a mess for all of us.
