  5.  Caren Spanos  I've never lived in a major city. 40 years ago it would have been a good career move, but the added property cost, traveling into the city, security cost, and the fact I could accidentally be in the way of a drive-by walking back from lunch, caused me to say no. So honest question, no snark - Is it possible to clean up these cities, or does human greed make it impossible? I'd like to think "law and order" can happen. But NYC Rudys and Fed Untouchables are very rare. I do think Beetlejuice (Lightfoot) kicked the police in the stones, first defunding and berating them, then yesterday cancelling days off and demanding 12 hour days. Your thoughts will be appreciated.
