An instruction line from my Big Book of Beer Recipes: The standard John Bull kit makes 4.5 gallons of fine lager. The Budweiser drinker may add 3 gallons more water. Bud LIGHT wasn't even a thing when the book was printed, so to guess... add 5 gallons more water?!

@Hippiegypsy-q3t I absolutely REFUSE to pay $7 a pack for cigs. Same as I won't pay $500 for Jimmy Choos. Not worth that. I've always made stuff though, my grandfather was a dairy farmer who lived through the Great Depression. They made stuff, repaired stuff, and I used to roll his cigs for him. Then we moved away, and I rolled or packed my own for the memory. People PAY to go to some "retreat" to relax. I put on an album and make tomorrow's smokes. I do get laughed at for being poor, or "on hard times", but as a retired lapidary, NOT. I just like living as natural as the world allows.
