We are very nice. Until we read some of the comments on unsocial media. Then we fight fire with fire. If you're into a ride on an old steam engine, see Boone, and around Christmas they have night rides to see all the lights and serve hot chocolat. For scenery, Fort Dodge and Ames, and the Fort has a small but wonderful pioneer days museum, or at least they did when I was a kid... Don't forget the covered bridges of Madison county!

@Sean Brown < Yeah, the Writers Workshop and farming are all we have here in Iowa, so the morons spending $500 for Jimmy Choos, $7 for the sorriest most acidic coffee on the planet (but hey, there's that CA stoned girl logo on the cup), and $60,000 for an EV that I'd have to come pull through the 8 inches of snow that fell overnight with my Ford 460, should just keep "flying over", nothing to pause their liberal communist 88 gender asses for in Iowa.
