People like you never ask, they just KNOW. Then they invent "reasons". Then they send a waiter to see if I'm alright. Then he tells them and they look stupidly down at their plates. Any one of the loons could have just asked me, or minded their own business.

  3. ​ @carly < Yes they can. Ever hear of a tax lien? And if they decide you made X amount, they will hound you and lock your bank account for months/years until you admit it and pay tax on it. Even if you never actually made that much. They'll say, "PROVE you didn't make that much." Go on, scratch your head, yes how DO you prove you didn't? Like everything else, you're guilty until you can prove innocence.

  4. ​ @False Gods < Funny story - I had a hobby shop, jigsaw puzzles, model kits, supplies. I was charged $135 one year for a "pre-use disposal fee" for the little jars of model paints. Anything to bang the family shops! Uh, no the online Amazon sellers never heard of it.
