The Steampunk is from my work with small intricate geared machines, Belladonna notes my heritage and lifelong habit of being a child of the night - quite suitable now that I'm an old bat :-) And yes, Biden didn't get "elected", he won the lottery without even buying a ticket. PILLosi hasn't done badly either....

@Dead Ham Eggs < In the winter, we wear thick snuggly robes with jammies and nightcaps, under electric blankets and quilts that attract all 5 cats. In the summer we have fans breezing wonderful clean air in the windows, and I don't get 2nd degree burns getting into the truck seat, don't have to do my makeup in the truck and then be dropped off at the door. I also no longer have sinuses from hell from living with full time A/C in hell. No place is perfect, thing is to choose the way YOU want to live and die in 3/4 time, to quote Jimmy Buffet.

@meghanodonoghue9066 I've got a shocker - I actually have one who sleeps under the blankets with just her nose sticking out. And since I sleep sideways, sometimes she dreams and moves around and her whiskers tickle MY nose.... :-) Cats!

@Larry Trapp < I live in Iowa dipstick, we usually have a few 30 below zero days, and 8 inch snowfalls with 30 inch drifts even in town are not that unusual. I haven't needed chains, my 460 powers me out, but of course some of us know how to drive. Some of us also don't wrongly GUESS things about strangers instead of asking, so we don't make arrogant NYC type jackasses of ourselves. And NOW you know why so many of us think your plastic battery toy EVs with the little 12 inch wheels are useless like tits on a bull. Got anything else dumb to say?

@James Ryan < I'm not too far south of you, and we froze and had snow last night. YOU'VE never lived in Tampa Bay, with the highest priced most profiting power company in the world (literally), needing a 2 ton A/C unit to make a 2 bedroom house livable for 10 months of the year, and Florida ran out of water decades ago, so go on check the cost of water there. YOU have no idea what things cost outside your widdo "bubble".
