CA today claims they support most of the nation, while they're asking the fed every year for billion$ to stay afloat. I'm not making any point here, CA is not worth thinking about for me. I am merely observant, and CA did threaten to secede a few years ago - I don't recall anyone begging them to stay.

And the people said "YEA! Can I get pin-striping?" and the salesman say, "Yes you can! the complete package WITH reflective foil is just $799.95 extra. How about some custom rims??" $31,000 later they had exactly the same 16 mpg city mileage, 22 highway. Downhill. With a tailwind. Now their children are trying to find the cars I grew up with and restore them. I hear the Twilight Zone theme playing somewhere off in the fog. If you're curious, we still drive our old Ford 460ci, which I think roughly = 8 litre V8.
