@mwbgaming28 The only problem i had with my country's (Indonesia) healthcare is that the doctors were not as competent.
This is my experience with healthcare. For 5 years i have been trying to fix my ingrown toenail problem. I used my healthcare insurance, which cuts the cost for me, but the doctor is rarely available. My doctor, which is a general surgeon, was able to fix my problem temporarily. But every 3 months, my nail grows again and the problem repeats. Took me 5 surgeries to realise that there is no point.
So i gave up. I then tried another doctor. This time a specialised reconstruction surgeon. She doesnt accept government insurance. I have to pay for like 4x the price of my previous doctor. Finally, she fixed my problem for good. She was able to reconstruct my nail so it wont cause any ingrown problems, unlike my previous doctor who just cuts the nail without repairing the real problem (he has no expertise im that).
In the end, 1 expensive surgery from her is much better and cheaper than those 5 cheaper surgery combined.
Sorry for the long story. But i conclude that my country's healthcare makes it cheaper, but at the same time lowers the quality of the care. That's why i prefer not to use government run healthcare. When i checked, another country like the US and Canadian, they have healthcare problem is quite similar to what my country's, therefore im pretty much skeptical about these issues. Maybe i should learn about other countries too and take them into consideration.
