  3. I dont believe in the world ending part, but i agree that we need to have cheaper, more efficient and cleaner energy for consumption. Nobody wants to breathe in smoke.

  4. Even if climate change doesnt exist, pollution is really a big health problem. I dont want to breathe in smoke and wear mask everyday. We need to do something to reduce pollution. Cleaner energy, more efficient green energy, it'd be much better.

  5. @Nicole Terry I said, we need a more efficient, cheaper green energy. That means improving the reliability, lowering the cost of the existing technologies. Or maybe finding a new way for clean energy. Now tell me, what do you want to disagree? We all wanted an alternative that is cheaper, cleaner and more efficient than combustion engines. Don't be like China where you need to put on mask and you cant see anything further than 10" because of smog.

  7.  Stuart Coker  Electric car is the future. More efficient, and most importantly, it doesnt emit smoke. Well, maybe the manufacturing and the electric generator does, but we can significantly reduce emission.

  8.  @sir_prize_ma_the_farcar4547  No. I'm also from a 3rd world country. We pushed our government to lower the tax on electric cars, the only reason electric cars are expensive and beyond reach.

  9.  @RainMan221  That is why i am supporting the development of green energy. Make it more reliable, more efficient, better in everything. Oh, and i already done my calculation with Nissan Leaf. It will have lower maintenance cost, lower fuel cost (considering we are using electricity) depending how much is the electricity cost. There are some problem that i dont even know yet, so i'm not going to judge further.

  10.  @RainMan221  Hydrogen fuel cell is just not as good. The infrastructure is just not widely available yet, while you can just plug it on your power outlet with the battery powered car.

  11.  Gary Daniel  That can be countered by newer cleaner energy generation method in the coming years. Nuclear perhaps? For the time being, we should stick to gas and coal until the technology has become even more widespread and cheaper

  12.  @RainMan221  As im having a debate here i learned more. I learned that hydrogen fuel cells do have energy density quite big. I'll say it is a good alternative to heavy hauling vehicles such as trucks (battery could take 60% of the payload). While battery is better suited for cars.
