Even Obama opposed MATO expansion into Ukraine, citing Russian regional escalatory dominance. The war will weaken NATO/EU for decades; strengthen Russia- China and BRICS ties, and accelerate dedollarization. The global south does not support Ukraine. Taiwan voters rejected pro-independence Tsai candidates, not wanting to fight a US proxy war. The US plan to challenge China has unravelled.
