  7.  @Jykobe491  Lasers work, under ideal condtions, no rain, fog, clouds. Also requires tracking of targets (hypersonic missiles develop stealth plasma shields). A target can spin to disperse laser heating, or use reflective coatings.

  24.  @brianb7388  Only relevant in low intensity conflicts, bombing 3rd world countries. The 1,000+ km range of hypersonic missiles will keep carriers out of range of the F35 in a war with China.
