@Dullydude Falcon 9 boosters could have way lower turnaround time, but there's not enough launches required for the number of existing boosters. They'd have to launch the same booster twice in a row to reach the advertised 24 hour refurbishment time. Why would they do it? Just to prove a point? As for the boiloff, it will probably be greatly reduced just by aiming the heat shield at the Sun. So I think it would make the most sense if they transferred all the fuel to a single tanker first and then into the HLS. But I'm not an expert, we'll have to wait and see how they handle this.

@J-Johna-Jameson Then maybe they could let some of it evaporate to keep the tanks pressurized? I don't know, but NASA definitely wouldn't base arguably the most important missions of the Artemis program around HLS if SpaceX didn't have a clear plan on how to deal with it.

@J-Johna-Jameson I doubt Elon has that much to say in that topic. He didn't go to NASA to propose using Starship as the lander, even if he did, they wouldn't accept it just like this. If SpaceX, or any other company proposed using warp drive to get to the Moon, NASA wouldn't immediately make it one of the core elements of the program, no matter how much the government loves the CEO, unless they had a plausible plan of accomplishing it.
