  1. You make such an intriguing observation at 2:00 and I legit wonder if that has a lot to do with arrested development? Now to counterpunch that: for 1000s of years across the world it was normal that people lived with their parents in the same house and indeed until the parents become grandparents and so on. In much of East Asia today this still entirely normal. We didn't have this problem before and you don't see this perpetual childhood issue in East Asia. What usually happens here that the children simply become the adults of the house, marry, kids, the parents become 'grandparents' and so on. They don't stay '17 year olds' despite living at home forever.
