  1. It's really just Fury doing everything he can to last 12 rounds and NOT get KOed or dropped or look like a stumbling oaf while Usyk besieges him. Credit to Fury, he took no chances and buckled down to not get dropped. I can make a case for a 'shutout', its pretty much just 12 rounds of Usyk being a level better.

  4.  @BidenSniff  I'd have it the other way around. AJ at least tried to go at Usyk. He tried to compete against Usyk. Fury, in this 2nd bout, was not trying to win. He was trying not to lose. but, he was successful in that he didn't get knocked out or knocked down. I suppose there is a 'moral victory' of sorts in that.

  6.  @BidenSniff  I can't think of any round where Fury tested Usyk. I suppose, the 'test' was taking a posture and defense of a castle and testing Usyk to knock it down. Well, ok. Usyk only able to win the round but didn't get a knockdown or KO. I suppose, i could say 'Usyk tested Fury's defense for 90% of the fight and rounds' but Fury didn't do anything to 'test Usyk'. but maybe you mean something else? Like what?

Since all you can say is 'you need to rewatch the fight) you should be able to name some round where your version of 'testing' happened? Was it round 5? I might be able to think of 2 rounds where Fury could barely get the round because he might have landed one or two more quick slappers and was not only in 'defensive mode'. Neither of these would warrant the term 'tested' though. By all means, tell me what you mean by 'tested' which we might be using differently but what rounds do you think Fury 'tested Usyk'? *i have no idea why you're still talking about some other opponent but I didn't see AJ inside the ring for Usyk-Fury2 I can't say AJ 'tested' Usyk either but I don't know that Fury did any such things in this particular bout. He just acted like a 'castle' being besieged and in boxing you don't get points for 'not doing anything'. Its not a 'knockout game' so if you stay in it for 12 it's 'competitive'.. Nobody calls it a 'close fight' because one didn't get stopped thus it was 'close'
