  1. it's worth noting that while China does have almost 1 Billion people it's also one of the largest land masses, about the same as USA or Canada in land and unlike Canada or Russia most of it's land is 'livable' for humans. When you do the math, the population density is not especially high. It's probably around 100th out of 200 countries. That said, yes if you consider the alleged population density of these city centers (which can be quite dense) this is definitely not good.
