  1. Ok, but we can already see what actually happened in real life over the last 7 years. Understand, we don't need to theorize but can see the actual results: - Chinese manufacturers reduced their price to compensate for the tariffs. In many of these cases, the Chinese government then subsidizes that loss. this is why the American consumers (most things, more products) did NOT PAY MORE for the products. We aren't having some 'debates' or 'different opinions' but rather this WAS and IS currently what is happening. The cost is passed BACK onto China. This is one direct reason why China is poorer today than 7 years ago.

  2.  @MichaelSharpBLACKDRUMMIKE  Nope, no you haven't. the 9.99 plastic spatula at Walmart is the same price as before there was a 10% tariff on it and I can tell you why. its because the 10% cost was passed back to China and the factory price was reduced by 10%. and either way you were never 'forced to pay' anything ever lol
