For the most part, Singapore will become the new 'Pearl of the East' or whatever you want to call the big finance, banking and capital hub of East Asia. I'm sure Hong Kong will still exist for a long time.

@wsmithe2209 eh, no Hong Kong is still in decline and of course more and more as all the capital and wealth from the 1st world countries has to migrate to Singapore. Why the hell would Hong Kong suddenly start growing? As some 'pearl of the eastern BRICs or something?'

@wsmithe2209 Well yes of course they have to worry about losing a tremendous amount of wealth that was used to enrich Mainland China. 'Worry' or not it makes one poorer and poorer. Thats 'bad' for them.
