  2. Asking someone about their ethnicity is NOT RACISM. When you are a RACIST, you see racism in EVERYTHING. The bigger racist is the 'victim' not the 'perpetrator'. I've been asked regularly in Canada about where I'm from because of my surnames... and I am WHITE!!! I don't consider it racist unless they start throwing around stereotypes. Asking someone's ETHNICITY is NOT RACIST.
