Cristo's father would not have been able to immigrate to the UK, neither would his mother's parents under a points-based system. MERIT. It means having something to contribute BEYOND 'we I'm a hard worker'. Cristo seems to forget that in the past, people WORKED HARD. They didn't have automation and technology. They had to WORK!!! So no, neither his father or mother's side would've been able to immigrate to the UK but neither would have anyone else. There was NO merit-based system 50-100-150 years ago because that's not what society needed or wanted. They needed WORKERS. They didn't need WOKE-arseholes.
