  2. Only the warmongers are crying today. Everyone with a brain knows that it was only ever to destroy Al Qaida and to kill Bin Laden (yes, we already know he was paid and armed by the CIA/US government thank you - irrelevant detail to this current story). That's it. There was never supposed to be nation building. NATO should have left 20 years ago... six months maximum. All the rest of this time just gave the Afghans a sample of democracy and modernity and they have REJECTED IT. You cannot force modernity on people. Let them live in the mid-600s.
