  1. I disagree with Alexander who is naive to think that “personal” relationships with Americans have any value. Xi is much too busy to play footsore with someone wearing Depends. Besides, according to standard American diplomatic protocols when meetings occur in US soil, the Chinese will be required to bring their own bag lunches and toilet paper. They learned this in Alaska.
