  1. Re Professor Desai’s final comments, I recommend she read Zoltan Pozsar. He attributes the lack of inflation to four factors: cheap energy from Russia, cheap goods from China, cheap labor from immigration, and cheap shipping. His arguments are very detailed and probably the most profound analysis of the situation. At least, everyone is echoing him without, in many cases, giving him attribution. His original dip ou nets are very in graphic information as well.
