  1. Not a surprise as the legal and monetary systems of both the UK and US are controlled by the same group of people. In fact, these people were instrumental in the formation and enactment of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. By going off the gold standard in 1971, the US became the gelding. It took a little while, but here we are.
