  1.  @popaustinmedia8806  He probably means some racist BS, but Polk County Sheriffs are racially diverse, and one of Sheriff Grady Judd’s mentors was a black sheriff’s deputy in Polk County. You can complain about some of his opinions on some topics, but the sheriff doesn’t have a racist bone in his body. If you watch him for years as I have, you’ll see he’s a good leader and a decent man. He does put on a folksy hick act, but don’t let it fool you.

  2. Yeah, that’d be nice. Sadly, what you typed only applies to Polk County. In many other counties, the criminal element is running amok. Leon County is a good example. Did you know there is a criminal gang operating openly out of 700 N. Adams Street in Tallahassee?

  3. Sheriff’s deputies and police officers know what they signed up for. When they come into work each day, they know that there is the possibility that they will have to do some paper work. It’s part of the job, don’t glorify them for it. They’re trained to do paperwork. Oh, you meant they have to deal with the emotional effects of shooting someone dead. Well, you have a point. I was thinking about all the forms they have to fill out after shooting someone.
