@sysbofh There’s a lot left out in the abridged translations of the Art of War. “Appear sober when you are drunk.” “Appear prim and proper when you are horny.” “Never trust a man in a blue trench coat, never drive a car when you’re dead.”

@Maria_Erias If you haven’t seen Perun’s video “All Bling, No Basics”, you should. But you don’t have to, as you’ve put the gist of his video into a single comment. Anyway, his channel is definitely worth checking out.

@snapcutter9596 Sail it to Kaliningrad and make it into a theme park. Russia is going to need new forms of income. It’s such a Mickey Mouse country, it should have its own fake Disneyland.

@caveman4598 A ship should be able to use any pronoun a ship wants. I don’t care what biological sex the ship was when it’s keel was laid down, a ship has the right to choose its own gender. Also, Spanish speaking navies should use barcx when talking about warships.

@kaylamarie8309 I wouldn’t do it. Your yearly registration will go up and you’ll have to pay more on toll roads. But maybe the benefits of being a member of the federation will make the extra expenses worth it.

@Frank-Thoresen The strategy used in recent times by the Grand Duchy of Fenwick has been security by obscurity. Computer experts say it shouldn’t work, but few people have even heard of the Grand Duchy of Fenwick, and among those that have, most think that it’s a fictional country. I don’t think the U.S. State Department even has a Grand Duchy of Fenwick desk anymore.

@hkchan1339 The crates of ammunition half filled with rocks so they’d weigh the same when moved around warehouses.

@jhill4874 While the Chinese are also interested in prestige projects, they’re somewhat better at TCB. They are also talented at copying processes and methods (even improving them sometimes). Their economic success is only partly based on cheap labor and stealing IP.

@mrinmoyseal5671 Full props to India for making lemonade from a lemon. It took perseverance and ingenuity to make this class of ship relevant, and I’m sure India has gained valuable experience and will make the most of it.

@Mikalent Your last question, add “Does Russia have the money?”

@magisterrleth3129 So what I’m hearing is that the captain who stole it from Ukraine was actually a NATO agent trying to burden the Russian Federation with an unsustainable white elephant. Maybe albatross is a better animal, since we are discussing a sea going vessel.
