  1.  @c3aloha If people aren’t writing their representatives to demand more resources for military standard of living, the appreciation seems like lip service. Maybe lip service is too harsh. Let’s say the phrase is like “aloha”.

  4.  @davidgoodwin4148 yeah. How many f-35s is $363 billion going to buy you? How many capital ships? How many tanks? How many parts and stores for all of the above? I’d feel pretty good if 363 billion was the R&D budget. And I wouldn’t consider it a waste because I know that Silicon Valley is the child of military R&D.
