  1. Yes, I think you’re correct. This is a lot of handy wavy denial of physics and the current state of engineering. It doesn’t matter how much motivation the airlines have to go electric if it’s technologically impossible. Unless we’re talking about lighter-than-air aircraft, such as blimps, but that is a lot slower mode of travel.
